Cancellation policy

Cancellation must be in written form.
Credit card charges or transfer fees will be deducted from all refunds.
There will be a 20 EUR cancellation fee after 31 July 2022.
Cancellations after 31 July will be processed after the congress.

These Terms and Conditions and the Complaints Procedure define and specify the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer in the sale of tickets and additional services or promotional items to the Congress in an online store operated on a website.

Contacting the seller means filling in the contact form on the website or contacting the authorized person by phone at his / her specific telephone number or e-mail listed in the Contacts section of the website.

These terms and conditions form an integral part of the purchase agreement concluded between the buyer and the seller and the buyer at the same time confirms that he has read these terms and conditions and that he expressly acknowledges that these terms and conditions are part of the contractual agreement between him and the seller.

Subject of the contract

The subject of the contract is the seller's obligation to deliver tickets to the buyer for the ISU 2022 International Congress (hereinafter referred to as the Congress), to the extent required by the buyer, and the buyer's obligation to pay the entrance fee for the tickets.

The purchase contract is concluded by paying the entrance fee by the buyer.

The seller undertakes to deliver the tickets to the buyer without undue delay after paying the entrance fee, in electronic form to the e ‐ mail provided by the buyer. The buyer is not entitled to delivery of tickets before the price for the Congress ticket has been paid in full to the seller's bank account.

By delivery of tickets to the buyer by the seller, all obligations of the seller arising from the purchase contract are fulfilled.

Tickets are not sent by post, not even cash on delivery.

Tickets are registered in the name of the participant, the organizer is entitled to verify the identity of the participant upon entering the event.

The ticket may be transferred to another participant after approval by the organizer of the Congress.

Rights and obligations of the contracting parties in relation to the Congress for which tickets are purchased

The seller is the organizer of the Congress for which tickets are sold. Purchasing a ticket to the Congress creates a legal relationship between the buyer and the seller as the organizer of this Congress. The Seller is responsible for fulfilling the obligations of the event organizer, which result from the contractual relationship between the buyer and the seller as the organizer of the Congress.

By purchasing a ticket, the buyer undertakes to comply with the rules set by the seller as the organizer of the Congress. Furthermore, by purchasing a ticket, the buyer undertakes to comply with the operating and visiting rules of the Congress venue.

The Seller, as the organizer of the Congress, is reserved the right to change its program, date and venue. By purchasing a ticket, the customer acknowledges this right of the seller as the organizer.

Sale of tickets outside the website is not possible and the organizer is not responsible for it.

Procedure for purchasing tickets and payment terms

The ticket price is calculated according to the selected options and displayed before the purchase, including any additional fees associated with the purchase of the ticket.

In the case of purchasing a ticket through the website, payment for the ticket is possible by credit card, which allows you to make purchases by credit card over the Internet or by wire transfer to the bank account of the seller.

The seller is not responsible for any costs of the buyer associated with the purchase of a ticket resulting from the contractual relationship between the buyer and the bank that issued the buyer payment card, or which maintains a bank account for the buyer through which the buyer paid the entrance fee.

Tickets are not sent cash on delivery.

Withdrawal from the contract

In accordance with the provisions of § 1837 letter j) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended, the buyer has no right to withdraw from the contract concluded between the buyer and the seller under the provisions of § 1829 of the Civil Code (withdrawal from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons), due to Due to the fact that it is a contract for the use of free time and performance, it is provided by the entrepreneur, ie in this case by the organizer Kong, within the specified period.

Complaints procedure

All claims for tickets purchased through the Website shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions and the Complaints Procedure set out in this Article.

The buyer is entitled to a refund of the ticket only in the cases listed below and under the conditions below.

Tickets are registered in the participant's name and e-mail address. After paying the entrance fee, a notification is sent to the specified e-mail and the participant also has the opportunity to check the registered ticket on the website, if he has created a profile here.

If the buyer has not received a ticket purchase confirmation no later than 6 hours after full payment of the ticket, ie crediting the full sale price of the ticket to the seller's account, he is obliged immediately, but no later than 72 hours from the date of delivery , contact the seller and inform him that he has not received the paid ticket. For these purposes, the buyer is obliged to inform the seller of the name and e-mail, which he stated as contact, respectively. identification data when buying a ticket.

  • The Seller subsequently undertakes to confirm the purchase of the ticket to the participant no later than 24 hours, but no later than 1 hour before the Congress
  • In the event that the Congress has already taken place and the ticket has not been registered, the seller undertakes to return the paid entrance fee to the buyer, no later than 14 days from the date of the claim by the buyer.

In the event of the complete cancellation of the Congress by the Seller as the organizer, the Buyer who provided the Seller with his contact (e-mail, telephone, postal address, fax, etc.) will be notified through this contact that the Congress is canceled. The Seller is not responsible to the Buyer for not being able to reach him in time through this contact or if the Buyer receives a delayed notice of cancellation of the Congress in time.

In the event of the complete cancellation of the Congress by the Seller as the organizer, the Seller will return the entrance fee in full as described below.

If the conditions for refunding the entrance fee according to paragraph 7 of these Complaints Rules are met, the entrance fee will be refunded to the buyer by means of the payment card with which the entrance fee was paid and in case of payment by bank transfer to the bank account from which the entrance fee was sent. The full price of the entrance fee paid by the buyer will be refunded no later than 14 days from the date on which it occurred to abolish Congress.

Protection of personal data during the sale

During the sale, the seller collects and stores personal data that the buyer voluntarily provides to him when purchasing the ticket. The seller collects and stores this personal data only to the extent necessary for the sale of tickets. The seller collects and stores data via electronic media in a secure data repository hosted in the European Union, to which a limited number of persons authorized to process personal data have access. Personal data are protected in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll., On the protection of personal data, as amended. The seller undertakes to collect and store personal data only for the time necessary to settle all rights and obligations between the buyer and the seller arising from the purchase of a ticket through the website. The Seller is entitled to entrust the processing of personal data to a third party as a processor in accordance with this Act.

The seller shall process personal data during the sale only for the following purposes:

  • For the purpose of delivering the ticket to the Buyer, sending information about changes to the Congress or tickets and enabling the Buyer to enter the Congress
  • For the purpose of identifying the buyer in the case of handling complaints in accordance with the complaints procedure set out in these conditions
  • In order to fulfill the legal obligations of the seller

By providing personal data to the seller, respectively. By purchasing a ticket, the buyer consents to the processing of personal data in the manner described above.

The seller does not process personal data for marketing purposes.

In case of incorrectly entered data (eg typo in name or telephone number), the buyer is obliged to contact the seller.

The seller keeps the personal data for the time strictly necessary, but no longer than 3 months, and then deletes the personal data. If the buyer wishes to delete the information earlier, he can contact the seller and request the deletion of his data.

The Seller may use the Buyer's contact details to send the Seller's commercial communications in the event that the Buyer expressly requests the sending of such communications.

Final provisions

Should any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the Complaints Procedure prove invalid or ineffective, this shall not affect the validity and effectiveness of other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the Complaints Procedure which are severable from the invalid or ineffective provision.

The seller is entitled to change these terms and conditions at any time.

All provisions of these terms and conditions and the complaint procedure and the contractual relationship between the buyer and the seller are governed by Czech law.
